McDonald’s Introduces New Caesar Sauce and Menu Items.

McDonald’s is introducing a savory new Caesar sauce that’s ready to put a fresh  and garlicky  spin on some of the fast food chain’s popular menu items.

The limited-time McDonald’s Caesar Sauce arrives July 21 at participating restaurants across the country.

The sauce is a “creamy, garlicky parmesan blend infused with notes of lemon that’s giving fan-favorite chicken items a glow-up this summer,” according to McDonald’s.

The creamy new sauce is temporarily bringing a classic Caesar flavor to some of the chain’s most popular items.

  • Caesar Snack Wrap: A McCrispy Strip that includes shredded cheese, shredded lettuce and Caesar Sauce, wrapped in a tortilla. Available for $2.99 nationwide.
  • Bacon Caesar McCrispy Sandwich: A McCrispy filet that’s topped with Caesar Sauce and includes bacon, shredded lettuce, Roma tomatoes, crispy onions and crinkle-cut pickles, all served on a toasted potato roll.
  • Caesar Dip Cup: Just want a little extra Caesar Sauce to use how you please? Participating restaurants will offer à la carte cups of the stuff so you can dip and dunk any item you want in it.

McDonald’s new Caesar Sauce is good news for lovers of chicken Caesar wraps, a millennial favorite.

When McDonald’s debuted the sauce on its official Instagram account, the response from Caesar-happy customers was overwhelmingly positive.

“A thousand wows. Didn’t know how much i needed this Caesar wrap til right now,” one wrote.

“You have no idea how long I’ve needed a Caesar snack wrap,” another added.

The update also prompted some fans of Caesar dressing to demand McDonald’s bring back other long gone Caesar-related menu items.

Many customers lamented the loss of the chain’s Caesar salads, which were discontinued in 2020.

For others, their memories went even further back to the chain’s early 2000s-era McSalad Shakers. The salad meals were served in a to-go cup that allowed customers to simply add dressing and enjoy.

The McSalad Shakers, they remembered all too well, included a Grilled Chicken Caesar option.

Though McDonald’s new Caesar sauce will be spicing up the menu for only a limited time, the chain recently brought back its famous Fried Apple Pie. Replaced by the Baked Apple Pie in the ‘90s, the baked good returned to the McDonald’s menu on June 23, also for a limited time.
